mannyi31
Was wondering if LaunchBox could implement a feature that Plex uses that gives you the alphabet on the side of the scroll bar so you have a quick access to your media. This would help for those of us with a big library of games and I would like to start browsing on games that start with P and all I do is click on P. This is just a suggestion, LaunchBox as it is today is perfect for what I am using it for. Update: I see the new alpha will have this feature, that is great news. Jason Carr
Hi Manny, welcome. Did you mean in the desktop app in your original request? Or in the new Big Box Mode?
DOS76
Hey Jason I think it would be a good feature for both but when the OP says Plex that is kinda vague because Plex handles this form of navigation in different manners across different platforms. In Plex web in your browser it looks like this In the Plex Home Theater App when you enter a section the use of shift + the desired letter will navigate to that letter. In the Plex for Windows 8 or Windows Phone ever letter has a touchable/clickable representation of itself which then cause a fly-out of all the letters giving you an option on where to navigate to. Out of all of these which are all highly useable I prefer the Home Theater method because it doesn't take up any screen real estate but I wouldn't mind any of them being implemented in future builds. DOS76
I just thought of this but the home theater method would actually be worthless to any one navigating with a game controller
mannyi31
I agree with DOS76 for this to be a great feature for both modes with the ability to disable it for those who do not care for it and yes I was referring to Plex web and the picture supplied is exactly what I am referring to.
