Jason Carr Posted July 22, 2016 Share Posted July 22, 2016 A new beta is out that I think fixes the issues with the VLC playback engine in Big Box, thankfully. Please test, all, and let me know. Also, for those that were seeing issues with Windows Media Player, I haven't been able to reproduce any of that so any details would be appreciated there. @kersey, to be honest I had no idea anything was happening in LaunchBox, I thought we were only discussing Big Box here. I'm wondering if maybe the videos you have aren't compatibility with Windows Media Player on your system or if maybe there's a faulty codec installed. kersey Posted July 23, 2016 Share Posted July 23, 2016 this morning, it s ok now for me with the 6.4.4, thanks for this work test with WMP and VLC it's ok i tested with option use platform background videos checked or not and the others checked ( use game background videos and use random game videos for missing platform). i confused with the facts you can choose VLC ( when you are in launchbox in the tools/options) and in bigbox i can be in WMP in the options maybe it will better reverberate the choice made in launchbox to bigbox Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The settings are separate because the interfaces are slightly different between them in LaunchBox, so I wanted to provide that extra control in case you wanted different settings between LaunchBox and Big Box.
