maximus76aus
After upgrading all my images for games have been disconnected. The images are downloaded and still present and my folders are correct in platforms but they are no longer linked or showing in launchbox. a small proportion of them are still showing but on the whole 85% of my games no longer are showing front images - only clear logo and banner remain???? Spirit is broken. Hopefully I am not re-investing the days and days to get these back.
imdavid555
Always a good idea to make a backup of your launchbox folder before updating to a beta build! Check the "Tools > Options > Images" area and make sure you have set your image priorities the way you want them. Also check "Tools > Manage Platforms > 'Choose your system' > Folders" area and making sure it has the correct locations for your art work. Hope this helps! SentaiBrad
You can also try refreshing your LanchBox image cache by going to Tools -> Refresh All Images.
maximus76aus
Had a closer look and found the issue - all my platforms settings for Front, Back and Screenshot folder had changed. Had to change them all to correct folders Back --> Box-Back Front --> Box-Front Screenshot --> Screenshot-Gameplay Thanks imdavid555 - much appreciated
Jason Carr
Hi @maximus76aus, had you customized your image folders (moved them outside of the LaunchBox folder previously)? We're about ready to put out the official release so need to make sure that everything is working properly. Sounds like something might have gone haywire here. maximus76aus
No. I had recently purchased premium and added my lic file (I believe this may have created a whole bunch of new folders??). I have never moved the default directories. Only thing I had done was remove some hardcoded paths for some directories that were appearing in the XML file (LaunchBox.xml) as this was causing me issues when porting the folder to a different computer / location.
