Is it possible to make it so no background is displayed behind the game titles for all platforms?

I just want a default plain background because the images are too loud and distracting to me.

Thanks!

So will this setting do this for desktop mode like i want and not affect big box?

also in desktop mode i'm not really sure which setting(s) to change and where they are?

@Raveryn are you asking a question there?

Lol. I suppose so :-P  If you or anyone else can tell me how to remove background images for games in Bigbox it would be appreciated.  I'm running it on a GPD WIN and there is quite a bit of lag even with cached images.

Ah, you just posted a pick from further up and wasn't sure. Bigbox will abide by the preferences you set in Launchbox, so go to tools/options/background priorities, and uncheck any that are already checked, save and reload bigbox.

If that doesn't work just report back here and we will dig a little deeper.

Also to add to that, if for some reason we can't get them to go away, you can always go to the Launchbox/Images/platform name and just delete the background image folder, then there are no background images to show. :)
