Download metadata and images when adding ROM

Hi.

How work scrap metadata and images when adding rom to collection.

Today i added cps2 rom folder.

All names of roms is ok, but no images download.

On edit screen no Launchbox db id is added.

So i must click search for metadata, choose LOCALDB or Wikipedia and then click for images.

Is any chance to get it in bulk all roms?

 

Maybe is this an error?

if you select the 1st game and then click control+a it will select all games then in the tools menu you can choose download media and images and run the wizard. When you imported these games what did you name the platform and did you add the scrape as option to scrape them as Arcade during the import wizard. If not that is probably why you didn't get any results back from the DB.

I use 6.9 beta so i choose CPS2 system. So maybe this is a problem. I know i can select all and download all images and metadata but it not work.

No launch db id added, no images.

Go up to tools and go to manage platform, choose manage platform and fill in the scrape as field as arcade and then try again.

Ok it's works but all games from capcom goes to arcade.

And now everything will combine with mame roms.

That shouldn't happen I thought that had been fixed.

Go to your Backup folder in LB and take one of the newer backups (probably not the newest) and copy it and rename it LaunchBox.xml and that will take you back to before you made the changes

It's ok. I must do some clean roms work because i wanna do a single wheel platform.

So i wait for this feature

Okay cool I was feeling bad there that it moved your ROMs somewhere you didn't want them so I wanted to help you get it back to how it was.
