Eirulan
Hi, so I just updated to the latest beta and saw the data structure has been split up into several *.xml files in the data subfolder, is it save to delete the launchbox.xml then?? Jason Carr
I would hold off on this until we put out the official version (and then I would *still* hold onto a backup copy), but yes, it is no longer used for the betas.
Eirulan
Thanks So it's not longer used - but I'll keep a copy.
Jason Carr
Unless you're using RocketLauncher or LEDBlinky. They both are currently referring to it.
Eirulan
Ah, good to know, thank you... I'm working on an automatic ScummVM Importer at the moment, this is why this interests me... But if other apps still rely on the old file, does this mean you sync to both the new and old XMLs at the moment?
Jason Carr
No we actually don't. The RocketLauncher guys plan to have a new version out shortly I think that works with the new format. LEDBlinky is less of an issue because it already works fine so long as you choose BigBoxSettings.xml in their settings instead of LaunchBox.xml. Arzoo is also working on a new version though, so I don't expect this will be an issue for long.
Jason Carr
That sounds awesome though; that's sorely needed. I'll look forward to that!
