Adding to the LB database

Having been part of the community for a while now I've talked to many people and everyone has different preferences with regards to what systems, artwork, and the number of roms they add. Some like no missing artwork, others don't mind. 

It got me thinking about some of the artwork I've found on google to fill in some of the gaps I've got in my games list.. I'm sure the goal is to get the LB database as complete as possible in the long run. So how can we contribute/upload content and are there certain image sizes that have to be adhered to, for things like clear logos, box

You can go to the database, click a game and edit it, or add a completely brand new game. Anyone can do this, we just ask that everyone follow the guidelines.

I've got boxes + clear logos for most my games, of which I had to manually search / create a large chunk. This means there are quite a few games that are missing this media. So, it would be nice if there was a way to query games with missing artwork.

This little app might do what you want.  I haven't tried it yet so not sure, sounds like you can filter to games that have missing art from the desc of the program though.

I was more thinking about a way to find out what media / info is missing in the online Games DB. My local library already has pretty much all the media I require for my theme.

So like a symbol next to your media? A cloud symbol and a download symbol? You're more than welcome to request that feature on the BitBucket, I think something like that is a unique request actually. Click Issues/Requests at the top, and don't forget to vote for your own ticket.
