Galion
So I have this problem about Emulator names. Is it possible to add a new Emulator name such as going to tools>Manage Emulators>Emulator Details>Emulator Name. I am trying to use Stella(Its an Emulator) for Atari 2600 right but Stella is not in the list of names given, I know that it wants me to use RetroArch to make it all work but I find it impossible to work with RetroArch. Example, RetroArch makes it so I need to install Stella inside the the RetroArch interface therefore I cannot use the one I already have. Second, I find it impossible to change the controls in RetroArch because if I want to play Atari 5200 that has like 50 buttons for one controller, I cant understand how to change each individual key using the settings inside retroarch. Also I find that the picture quality is completely crap (as shown in the pictures I uploaded). Using different emulators for each platform is so much easier but LaunchBox does not give me that option because it forces me to use an Emulator name. I found out how to get around this by selecting a random emulator name, for example I choose Snes9x Emulator name and make the path as as stella therefor tricking it so it will open Stella instead of Snes9x. But if I ever want to add SNES to my emulator list, then I need to delete the path and so on.. So in short... How do I add a new emulator name!?!? LogicalEgo
Launchbox, Manage Emulators, Add, Enter the name you want for the emulator, browse to the .exe, click on associated platforms and assign to Atari 2600
LogicalEgo
Btw your problem with retroarch is that you need to go into settings, video and turn off HW Biliner Filtering.
Galion
Well then... Thank you so much! It took me 5 hours to figure that out. Thumbs up to you!
SentaiBrad
Yep, LaunchBox gives a list of suggested (that's getting updated along with defaults), but you can add what ever you want for emulators and in to your library.
