CTRL-ALT-DEFEAT Posted January 14, 2017 Share Posted January 14, 2017 (edited) Hi All, I use Mednafen (standalone) for PC Engine/TG-16 and Saturn games. For PC Engine and TG-16, it automatically save states when exiting the game and I don't want it to do this. Is there any way to disable that in Mednafen? It doesn't do it with Saturn games, so maybe it's a feature of the console (not sure; didn't have one growing up). Tried googling and looking on the Mednafen website, but couldn't find anything mentioning it. Lordmonkus Posted January 14, 2017 Share Posted January 14, 2017 I don't use the standalone Mednafen for I do have it so I took a look in the config file (mine was called mednafen-09x.cfg). I noticed the line: ;Automatic load/save state on game load/save. autosave 0 Maybe yours is set to 1, I don't know if this is what would be causing your issue or not but it's worth a look. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
