Adding / editing games in big box mode

Hi,

I've been using launchbox for a while in big box mode and love it! It's by far the best frontend out right now.

One feature I would like to see in the future is the ability to add roms / platforms and download images in big box mode.

I use an xbox controller with a htpc from my couch. This feature would be very useful as I currently have to connect a keyboard and mouse and switch to launchbox mode to do this.

I'm not sure how easy it would be to add it in or if anyone else would find it useful. But for me, having this feature in big box mode would make editing my game collection much easier.

This would be amazing!

It wouls be so useful for those of us who primarily use big box. 

It would also be extremely nice to be able to make even small changes, like hiding or deleting games that you try and do not like.

That would be great but i don't think it might be possible...

Bigbox was made to be used with controllers, that being said, it would be a bit hard to configure such things.

@gustarriniWhat you say makes no sense.  Everything from Kodi to steam allows you to use controllers to bed games or files without a keyboard. This definitely be done. I hope the devs realise the importance of this making it a more seamless experience.

It would be possible but I highly doubt it will ever happen. It would take a lot of time and energy on @Jason Carrs part to do it and that is time away from other more important and more requested features.

I also really long for this feature. It is sooooo annoying to find out a game is missing some art and then having to switch to desktop mode to be able to fix it! It would be awesome to be able to do this from Big Box. What would also be amazing is -for missing art- the option to download images from the internet directly instead of having to do this via the browser first.
