InfinityFox
Seeing as the MAME sets are in 3 different flavours now. Merged Split Non merged Is it correct to assume that the non merged set will be the best for a MAME import, considering that before the split set was suggested and that there were problems importing the merged sets
DOS76
Non merged sets are the most disk intensive sets as the parent are included inside of the clones too, the split set has the clones separate from the parent in their own archive and the merged set combines the parents and the clones so even if a game has 12 clones all the needed files for them are inside the parent. Merged sets can be imported to LB rather easily it is just unkown how to launch any of the clones games from LB if you use a merged set Split sets are the middle of the road they take up less space than a non-merged set but more than a merged set they are also the most flexible to use inside of LB. Non-Merged are just ridiculous in my opinion why would you want to have all of that redundant data taking up HDD space.
