ckp
@Jason Carr , i've found that having the enormous amounts of unique unknown file extension names on the image cache files causes some tools like my xyplorer file explorer replacement to take a very long time when entering the cache folder. the problem is strictly because of that crazy unique file extension naming. if i rename all those files with the same extension, i can browse that folder and do stuff in there almost instantaneously. i reported this to the xyplorer app devs, but they don't want to fix this because they think it's unusual to add extensions like this and that it is not necessary. also Windows 10 file explorer itself even takes a while on this folder. is there any way you can change the naming so there is just like a normal uniform extension on those file names? it will really speed up file browsing. ckp
i wonder if this can even be causing some of the slowness in LB/BB related to the image cache filenaming you use?

Jason Carr
Thanks, @ckp; there's really no possible way that it's affecting LaunchBox performance, but that makes sense. Thanks for the ticket.
