Wayne100
I know that this is a bit of an open ended question, but as I install and set up more and more platforms and games onto my system, it is becoming apparent that my system is just a bit to old and slow to cope. My end goal is to have a fully functioning arcade machine, running BigBox with Coverflow (running fast and smooth!) I have tried various things that have been suggested (from a previous topic I started), but all to no avail. My current system is:- Windows 7 Enterprise (x64) Intel core i3-550 (3.2Ghz) 8mb Memory (2 x paired 4mb) NVidia GeForce GTS 250 GPU Soundblaster Audigy card 2TB SETA HDD (Solely for LaunchBox) 150GB SETA HDD, for Windows etc. Platforms to run:- ZX Spectrum, Amiga, NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Nintendo Gamecube, Master System, MegaDrive, etc etc, and MAME, CPS 1,2,3, Atomiswave etc etc. (Basically, everything) Roughly, what would be the recommended spec of a system capable of running Coverflow etc perfectly, or any upgrades that would bring my system 'upto' spec? Any help, or suggestions much appreciated!

If you are going to buy or build a PC use newerish parts but that is just me.
