Wayne100
Any help appreciated - Launchbox started to update to a new BETA version last night, however I choose to cancel it, due to being part way through downloading a large torrent. However, now neither LaunchBox or BigBox will launch, all it keeps saying is that 'LaunchBox (or BigBox) has stopped working'. Any ideas? - hoping that I have not lost everything! Cheers all
SentaiBrad
No, all of your files are still there. If you stopped it part way from downloading, that seems odd. The download shouldn't effect LB like that, but lets go through a few steps. Have you tried a system restart?
ckp
Just reinstall Launchbox and don't cancel next time. the last several LB installers should be in your LB download folder.
SentaiBrad
They'll be in LaunchBox/Updates, sort by the latest and run that, but it may be more simple than that. The download its self still doesn't have much to interfere with.
Wayne100
Managed to get it up and running by using an older BETA update, and copying over the data folder. Not sure why it happened , but at least its all working now!
SentaiBrad
Huh, so the download did mess with the install. If that happens again though, all you need to do is install over your current install.

He probably just said "download" because that's how the whole upgrade process begins. I'm sure what he actually cancelled was the upgrade itself after the download, which is why I suggest a reinstall.
