Stop Clear Logos replacing video

Just a quick one.

Does anyone know how to stop clear logos appearing when Video is not available? I use Minimal AO and it has a nice static effect on video sections, so would rather it show just the static rather than a clearlogo that doesnt fit in the box where video would be.

Cheers Shaun

There's several clear logo toggles in the options menu, but I'm not sure what you're specifically asking for is possible in the current default set up. The theme you're using could set that up with a quick edit, if one of it's views doesn't already. That would be a question for the theme creator, or someone with the know how to edit the theme files to allow for that.

If you'd like to request that, feel free to click Issues/Requests at the top and make a ticket for it.

Cheers for the reply it's not a major issue, I can live with it if it's not available. On another note any ideas how to filter by clear logo missing etc. Been going through either finding or deleting games without clear logos. However collection is hitting 15000 and don't wanna go through find all missing clear logos would rather delete so my collection is consistent. What do other people do for this. Keep them without?

Because of the way how MinimalAO handles the videos it will use the image types that you have set in your background priorities when there’s no video for a game.

To change them open LaunchBox and go to: Tools -> Options -> Images - > Background Priorities and check/uncheck all image types you want to have used. With up and down you can also set the priority of the checked image types. Unfortunately I doubt that you can loop the static effect as that’s just a transition effect and not a placeholder for anything.

You can use the audit feature to find out what kind of images a game has. Select the platform of your choice in the LaunchBox sidebar and then go to Tools -> Audit. Be aware that it can take quite a while for LaunchBox to scan your games, depending on the size of your selected platform. Once it’s done you can sort all games by the number of available wheel images and then select all games which don’t have one and hide/delete them all.
