I have a 2 player (7 button) cab with player credit and start buttons for each along with an exit and pause buttons. it all comes down to personal preference, but, I was wondering what Ui shortcuts others have mapped to their control panels and how they layed them out. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Omen Posted May 30, 2017 Share Posted May 30, 2017 I don't have a cab, but I have a shortcut for my xbox controller that starts a "kill all and restore" script I made. It kills all emulators, BigBox, RocketLauncher, and EventGhost. Then it restores BigBox, and EventGhost. It's great for those times when something crashes or locks up for some reason. From experience you will make thing a lot easier on yourself if you setup your Arcade control panel using the MAME defaults emulating keyboard presses . Don't set it up like a game you controller. You will have conflicts if you ever want to use a game controller in conjunction with your Arcade controller. For example you might love your Arcade controller for MAME games but an XBOX 360 controller for Nintendo 64 games.
