xbox360 emulation - how close are we?

Im just curious but hows things with the xbox360 emulation process going if anyone has any information?

I just really would like to play games like persona 4 arena, Catherine and a bunch of other games without having to resort buying a 360 + setting it up when I don't have the space/room and same again with any other gaming console

There have been a few progress videos out there that show a couple of games booting and playing but at varying degrees of quality.

But nothing I would consider usable at this point in time.

so u think if I wana play persona 4 arena it might be best for me to get my old 360 outa the loft and just buy the game off ebay or something?

otherwise I'm gona be looking at afew years of waiting right?

If you have a 360 and really want to play the game now or in the near future then that is what I would do.

As for how far out we are from having a "good working" 360 emulator it really is guess work. We could see a big break through in the next month or 2 or we could be waiting. It really is guess work when it comes to estimating emulator development from an outside view like we are.

I did a story on this a few weeks ago in RSS. It exists, it's moving, just very very slowly.
