Question about smart playlists

Recommended Posts

When you create a smart playlist, In the "auto-populate" section, do all the listings need to be true?  Is there way to select "or" and "and" in between the listings ala iTunes?  I'd like to create a playlist that takes favorites from several platforms, but I don't see a way to do this.

Thanks!

R

The only thing I could recommend is creating individual playlists without adding games......then go into your game collections and left click "add to playlist" on each game you want to add.

I've done a similar thing, I googled the top 50 roms per genre, once I had my list I typed the Rom name into launchbox search and manually added each one to the playlist I created  ......hope this helps

Yes, I can definitely do that, thanks.  I was just curious if there were more advanced smart playlist options but I believe the answer is no.  Still, the playlist feature is fantastic as is.

You can see if the Ao.Bigbox plug-in I made does what you want. It generates playlists of favorites, recent, most played, and random. It makes these playlists when Bigbox starts.

It's a time-consuming chore to me. There should be a way to import a list from a txt file or something like that.
