edugr10
Hello all I recently finally installed Win10 Creator's Update and now can't launch BigBox anymore. I do see the initial logo flash but during the "Initializing BigBox" speech it crashes with with the typical Windows "[App] has stopped working" error. I'm pretty sure this is Creator's Update related because it's the only thing that has changed on my PC really. Is there anything I can do? BigBox is too important to me, without it I might as well have no front end at all. I tried downloading the latest Nvidia drive and it did not solve the problem. Kevin_Flynn
Reinstall 4.7 .NET Framework as well as Direct X
Lordmonkus
Reinstall the latest direct x and visual c++. If that doesn't work try re-installing Launchbox over top of your current install. You won't lose anything re-installing over top. Edit: .NET 4.7 as well.
edugr10
How do I go about reinstalling .NET 4.7 Framework? I downloaded the install file but when i run it says I already have 4.7 or newer. Can't find it on the apps list, just something called XNA Framework 4.0. Thanks guys.
Lordmonkus
The .NET 4.7 reinstall is probably not needed or would do anything. I believe that is actually included in the Creators Update.
edugr10
Well, so is DirectX. I can't even download it anymore, so how I am supposed to reinstall this as well? From Microsoft's website: Quote Updates will be available through Windows Update. There is no stand-alone package for these versions of DirectX.
