reaper71129
First of all.. i love the software.. Very awesome.. But i have a question... I have a main setup on my tv in my game room... It is set up works great.... But it is ok (l have a forever license) to make a second installation on a usb flash drive for my laptop.... If so... Is it ok to use a usb 3.0 flash drive... And what size do you think i would need... i just want to emulate Sega cd/turbo graphics Cd and below... Any help would be appreciated...
Lordmonkus
Yes, this is fine to do. Just make sure the proper runtimes are installed on any other computer you want to use the USB drive with. USB 2.0 or 3.0 will be just fine and shouldn't impact performance much if at all and as for size go for as much as you need or want to spend money on. You can cut down on space requirements by keeping it simple and not using video files.
reaper71129
Thanks for the quick reply.. i have a 256gb usb3.0 flash drive i will try to use... and my gameroom tv does not do movies either... so i'll try to copy from it and change the drive locations for roms and emulators.... thanks,
reaper71129
I made the usb drive last night.. it worked great... i just had to edit the launchbox.xml to redirect where to look for the files and emulators.... a simple find and replace worked... Thanks for the help..
