Additional App - Xpadder & Steam Games launching & exiting on startup

I'm trying to use Xpadder for DOA 5 on Steam

I set the app to launch a profile on start and an app to exit the app on exit.

But when the gamr launches, it launches xPadder and then closes it, as if it thinks the app is closing... to troubleshoot this, when i run the same two additional apps on an emulator rom it works just fine.

Because it's launching steam then DOA, does it think the app is closing? Why would both additional app launch on start, is there a way to fix this?

if your DOA 5 has a process (exe) which will remain that you can launch from LB instead of the steam id when editing the game, browse to and select that process instead. for my DOA 5 I don't think there is a process that I can start directly for the game and still keep my settings. DOA5 works fine with xInput for me, so I don't need Xpadder for it.

Rocket launcher, pcgames, keymapper, no worries after that. Doesn't even look for an exe or mess with any other apps opening and closing, because it starts the keymApping program based of its database name for the game, nothing else.

-This .bat for close xpadder is:

@echo off
pause
TASKKILL /IM Xpadder.exe /F
