Hello

First post on the forum wanted to share my way to easy backup and maintain your games and emulation on one folder to make it easier

What i did is making all my games inside the Launchbox which the feature that Launchbox is doing, and putting all the Emulations inside the Launchbox folder to make your life easier and can backup or copying.

You can share the folder to your friends and he/she can play the same as you do.

  1. First you must install the Launchbox from the site https://www.launchbox-app.com/download better install it on folder that can be easily access like C:\Launchbox or any other drive you have.
  2. install all the games and make sure Launchbox Move all the games you want to its folder for WiiU and PS3 games better to move them your self because there is lot of files inside the folder that required to run the game ill be leaving.
  3. Emulations you don't need to install them just take the non-install version to make it portable but for some emulations you required to install (ePSXe, RPCS3 and etc..). and copy the portable emulation to folder inside the X:\launchbox\Emulator. https://imgur.com/9lDKpUW
  4. make sure that in some Emulation your save data, bios and configurations to be in the same folder as the emulations https://imgur.com/GqtYXd8, some emulation will use Document like Dolphin and you cant change it

if you make a blank text file named "portable.txt" Dolphin will make the folder that goes to documents within the Dolphin folder instead

but you can make shurtcut for it to be in the folder, other program will use %appdata% Citra so make sure to copy those too. https://imgur.com/1nHzgSw
  5. Make sure to delete your license from your Launchbox folder if your premium, Copy your Launchbox to backup drive and thats it you can even share it with your friends (but he/she must install Launchbox installer first then copy from your drive)

Just want to make clear here that sharing of your Launchbox license file is not acceptable and may result in your license being blacklisted and prevented from future updates.

We also cannot condone sharing of copyright files such as roms and bios files but of course what you do privately is up to you.
