rtavani
I am currently using the Sega Model 2 Emulator v1.1a for Model 2 games. Most work perfectly except for Daytona. At startup i get the network board missing error and go into setting to change Link ID from MASTER to SINGLE. When i exit the game works fine, however if i close and relaunch the game i get the same error and need to repeat the same steps over. Any way to fix this so that it save the config settings? DOS76
That is strange I had to do so with my Model 2 games in the past but the settings have always stuck for me so I don't know what would be preventing it from saving. Are you using LB controller automation to exit the game?
rtavani
i put the following in the autohotkey box: ; This section closes Sega Model 2 Emulator when pressing Escape $Esc:: { Process, Close, {{{StartupEXE}}} }
rtavani
you know what that was the problem, i removed this script and relaunched the game and changed the link id setting. Sure enough it saved this time, weird but who cares, tks very much for pointing me to the right direction
DOS76
yeah for some emulators that script doesn't close the emu cleanly and settings don't get saved. Edited November 7, 2017 by DOS76
