Nickjs
Hey guys. Is there way to import Steam games without having to import your entire library? I have almost 700 games in my library and alot of them I have no interest in ever playing. I'd like to be able to keep my Launchbox clean with only games I enjoy. Thanks for your help! neil9000
Yeah you can import anything into Launchbox, just drag the shortcut onto the window and follow the wizard that pops up and when it asks you what you are importing choose the "none of the above" option so that it wont try to use a emulator for it. Nickjs
That does help me some. The only problem is this won't import games that are not currently installed. If you use the normal Steam importer it will import the entire library weather the game is installed or not. Thanks for your response
JamesBond@ge
I do something different to the LaunchBox way of importing Steam Games. I don't touch any of that automated stuff. I have set up a custom platform called "Steam Games" that scrapes as "Windows". I manually round up the .url shortcuts that the Steam Client creates, into a folder, and then I use those to import into LaunchBox. The scraping for media doesn't work as well when doing this and so I manually get all the media from each games Store Page anyway and then sort them manually into the LaunchBox assets folders. I couldn't get along with the built in Steam import function in LB. Edited December 21, 2017 by JamesBond@ge
