rocksinboxes
I do not know if this as designed or a bug, but I am unable to enter my retro achievements username in the options menu without clicking "Click here to register an account." The field just shows a blinking cursor. I am using beta 5. was able to login successfully. Thanks. Jason Carr
Thanks all; I have this fixed for the next beta. @rocksinboxes I'm puzzled there in all honesty. If you have any more information to help me figure that one out, let me know.
blame73
Hey, I started getting an "Unexpected character encountered while parsing value: <. Path '', line 0, position 0." error when launching LaunchBox. I tried restoring an old data backup (from BackUps folder) to be sure it doesn't depend on any new games I added but it still crashes. Since I can't disable retroachievements because the app crashes as soon as it starts, @Jason Carr is there a way to disable it via some config files (should the errors depend on retroach...)? In order to make changes I didn't have to close the crash error window because doing so THAT would close LaunchBox too. BTW I'm on the latest 13.11 version (which I also tried reinstalling over the previous one with no success) and BigBox works just fine. EDIT: taking a better look at the crash message it seems to be related to the GOG account: EDIT2: I logged-out from GOG and it doesn't crash anymore, so maybe there's an error that has to be handled in the GOG related code Edited February 8 by blame73 found a solution
Endominius
Getting the same error. Can confirm logging out from GOG fixes, thanks. Something seems to be wrong with GOG, Galaxy showing a connection error.
