Building a ITX PC for emulation on the go. Would love some input!

First I'm not looking to break the bank on this, Trying to keep it around the $1000 mark.

My goal: To be able to play up to 6th Gen (PS2, DC, GCN) games at native resolutions without taking any real performance hits. Going for authenticity and portability more so than HD. Also, kind of a pick up and go set up. Easy to plug and play with any modern TV. This will also be the ONLY thing the PC will be used for. No high end gaming, just an emulation box.

Here's the build I'm going with currently:

Case: Cooler Master Elite 130 Mini-ITX

Mobo: MSI Intel Skylake H110

CPU: Intel Core i5 7500K

GPU: ASUS Nvidia GTX 1030

RAM: Corsair Vengeance (8GB)

SSD: Samsung 850 EVO (250 GB)

HDD: Western Digital Blue (6 TB)

PSU: Corsair SFX 450 Watt

Plus odds and ends likes OS, Coolers, Fans, Controllers, etc.

So please, if you see anything that's far too under powered for what I'm trying to achieve, or something that's more cost effective, please say so! Thanks!

Id imagine you would be fine. I play PS2 up-scaled (i want to say 4x to 8x I can't remember which though), and DC just fine no problems (Have yet to try GC its next on the list) on a weaker system than that and I spent way less than 1000 easy.

I expect to run some "current" games.

seems good.  i did a mITX build in a coolermaster 110 2 years ago.  It worked great, but I had to get rid of it due to the need to add more hard drives this past year.  No experience with the CM 130, but just be aware of heat with every additional piece you add.  No problem running that generation of games on 2-3x upscales on a TV(4k), and even runs ps3 and modern pc games fine.

For your reference, here is what I fit in the smaller box:

Coolermaster 110 Case, Intel i5 6600k (not overclocked), 8 Gigs corsair ram, Geforce GTX 960, Asus H110i-Plus Mobo, 1 3tb Hard drive, 1 (2.5'') 500gb hard drive.

Maybe have a look around at comparisons, as you can go older in hardware generation for the same result, at a reduced cost.
