dbinott
I did a search couldn't find anything specific. I had Retroarch with mame2003. So I tried mame195 64bit instead, same issue. Games are just really slow. Is it a graphics card issue? Lordmonkus
Emulation is for the most part CPU based though graphics cards do come into account when dealing with upscaling and using shaders. Your systems CPU is plenty for Mame and Retroarch. Are you running any shaders ? Are you hooked up to a 4K display or maybe your display is set to 30hz instead of 60hz ? dbinott
This is weird tho. Like I said I have both RA and MAME set up. RA was default, now it is MAME for Arcade platform. When I go to run a game it is still using retroarch. Assumed default meant just that, when double clicking on a game it would use the default emulator? Lordmonkus
The "default" check box is for importing only. To change your games to Mame select all your games in your Arcade platform and then press Control + E to open the bulk edit tool. You can then change the emulator, select emulator from the dropdown menu and then in the 2nd dropdown select the emulator you want to change to. Lordmonkus
It's a common issue, I have asked @Jason Carr about changing it or making it function in that manner.
