how do you fix a plattform xml error?

now it says launchbox\data\windows.xml is corrupted

If you go to the backup folder in LB does it have a backup for your Windows xml if so just use it to overwrite the corrupted file.

but there's nothing to replace. First it said settings.xml was corrupted so I used a backup. Then it said platform.xml so I replaced it with a backup. Now its sayings windows.xml but theres no windows file in the root folder

omg thank you I swear I tried that earlier but it works now. What causes the crashes? I have this running on a bar top arcade machine I made for my dad and he's not going to be able to fix it if it happens again

sometimes after I exited a game it would kinda freeze up and be forced to shut down and I would have to relaunch bigbox
