New beta = clear cache

When a new beta is installed, does it clear the thumbnail cache? I've noticed that my thumbnails again need to regenerate, and wonder if it is because i updated LB with a new beta.

It shouldn't.

Note that LaunchBox Next uses different cache than regular LaunchBox.

I've noticed that it happens even when I restart my PC, so maybe it's not just the new builds. Is this expected behaviour? I would have thought that the thumbnail cache would be remembered. I've not changed the size of the thumbnails or anything either.
