Retroarch opening in new window instead of Launchbox

Can someone please explain to me why when I start up a platform in launchbox that uses Retroarch it opens in its own window instead of inside of Launchbox.  Thank you for your help.

Because that is how it is supposed to work.

You can set Retroarch to fullscreen mode by pressing F on your keyboard. I can't remember if the default setting for Retroarch is to save your settings on close or not, I believe it is but I set mine to off because I prefer it that way. The next time you load it should be in fullscreen mode.

You may want to check up my Retroarch Startup Guide then, it's a little outdated now but for the most part everything should still apply though maybe in a slightly different form.
