This should help with the VTech Creativision emulation. Apparently MAME 1.93 and above works for it as well but this page has a list of all of the standalone emulators for it, their features, and missing functions, etc listed as well.

Thanks so far I made the Vtech work with a MESS.. Do you know where I can get a list of commands for MESS and MAME to run in launchbox?

You will want to use the text from the system column and text in brackets from  the brief column.

For example if you were to load an X68000 game you would want the command line:

x68000 -flop1

ok thanks what I was looking for!!! It would be nice if this could be implemented to launchbox this way people did not have to imput mess and mame commands manually.

Well as you can see in that list it's quite large and the 2nd part of the command line can vary based on media type (eg: floppy, cart or tape).
