Set keyboard to controll big box

Hi, noob question 

I have to set keyboard key to controll big box instead joystick. When i go to controll settings it don't take my keyboard input. How can i do to set it ? tnx

Are you going into controller settings or keyboard mappings? Those are two different things and if setting a keyboard you need to use the keyboard mapping option.
