TheNewClassics
Hey @Jason Carr, and other LB vets, I have a specific question. To make a long story short, in the process of building a new PC and migrating an HD with LB on it, the HD got reformatted and I had to use a recovery software program to restore all the files. Now all the files all look to be there, but when I try to start LB on the drive, I see the initializing screen for a second, and then LB closes. Is there a log or anything that would be helpful to share that can pinpoint the problem? I tried reinstalling version 9.0 again as well, and did not have any success. Thanks in advance
Jason Carr
You can turn on the DebugLog in the Settings.xml file (just look for the DebugLog line and change it to true). Then logs with show up in the Logs folder. What I would recommend though first off is to install a fresh copy of the latest version and then copy over the Data folder. If it still doesn't start up, then most likely you have corrupted data, unfortunately. From there, you can start removing XML files from the data folder one by one to find the culprit. TheNewClassics
Hey Jason, thanks for the walkthrough. You were right; one of my playlist XML's were corrupted; deleted it and now all is well. Thanks!
