chemdream
Launch games from Launchbox/BigBox is great. But when using retroarch as the emulator, when you exit the game, you are still in retroarch. It takes away from the Launchbox experience. Is there a way that when a game exits, it also exits retroarch? When using RetroPie, it seems to work that way. I'm not sure if I just need to load my games with a certain parameter? Lordmonkus
Pressing Escape on the keyboard or using Launchbox's Controller Automation button combo will exit Retroarch completely.
chemdream
I'm still fighting to get the controller button combo working.
Guwanges
In BigBox you can set the hotkey automation for exiting. I set the "hold" button to the X360's back button, and the combo button to the start button. Works every time. Though I've noticed a bug where if you spam these buttons it does a gnarly crash (sometimes I absentmindedly hit these buttons in haste when impatient). Retro808
Set the exit hook directly in Retroarch. It is pretty easy. Open RA and in the menu go to the Gears Icon menu and scroll down to Input. In the input menu select Input Hot Key Binds. In this menu set a control/key for "Enable Hot Key" (this would be the control/key you press and hold to activate the control/key you chose for Exit) then set a control/key for "Quit".
Guwanges
Thanks for the tip, but the trouble is this crashing bug happens on any executable I run. Some scenarios don't have an easy exit option (like Fightcade) and so it's nice to be able to just do back + start. But most of the time it freezes bigbox - even if I do it properly - putting BIgBox to 50% CPU usage and requiring a Ctrl+alt+del to kill the process. Real bummer. It's the only real "immersion breaking" bug that I've come across but it's a big one.
