looking for help

hi I am looking for help

I am trying to build something for an older gentlemen at my church I got all the roms but I don't know whats the best setup to go for him for ease of use all I have for him is the wireless xbox one controller with dongle and the computer and the roms but would like to make it easy for him to use any help would be greatly appreciated 

the computer specs are AMD FX 9590 black edition, 16gb ram, 3tb of hdd, and the gfx card is r9 270x

the games I have are Atari 2600,5200,7800,jaguar,lynx, colecovision, Gameboy , Gameboy color, Gameboy advance, gamecube, intellivision, neo geo pocket color, nes, super nes, n64, Nintendo virtual boy, Sega, sega 32x, game gear, Sega master system, PlayStation 1, and turbo Graphix 16

ok I will do that I just didn't like how retro arch when adding the games if they weren't a certain type it wouldn't be added to the playlist so If I use the url to make a playlist for retroarch then I have to add all the boxart individually and from what I have see of this its a lot better I am just trying to figure out the best way to go about it at first I had just retro arch then I seen this and I was amazed at how this looked 

I tried hyperspin but that crap is complicated as crap

and can the xbox controller navigate launchbox? or is the mouse necessary cause I would like to set it up where he could hit the xbox button and go back to where he could select the games

You don't need to add games to Retroarchs playlists to use it with Launchbox.

You can use a controller in Launchbox but it's not meant for it so it's wonky, BigBox (which is a premium feature) is what is meant to be used with a controller.
