rod419 Posted July 14, 2019 Share Posted July 14, 2019 Hi everyone, I DL'd launchbox and tried to import MAME using the built in wizard. It runs for a few hours, but returns zero results every time, and I've tried at least 10 times at this point. Anyone have any idea whats going on? My configuration is (H:\) is a logical partition of ?\:, but i did run LB initially in the Users folder, with the exact same results): LaunchBox Location: H:\LaunchBox MAME folder: H:\LaunchBox\MAME Roms folder: H:\LaunchBox\MAME\roms Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
neil9000 Posted July 14, 2019 Share Posted July 14, 2019 If the importer is running for a few hours then its definitely doing something, likely downloading all the media. Can you show some images please? Are you saying that after the import you have no arcade platform? Also are you using the MAME fullset importer? Yes, I'm using the full set importer and each time the bar reaches the end and says it's gathering info for "zwackery". thought it might be getting hung on that game so I took it out of the roms folder, and the results have been the same. I don't have "arcade"under platforms unfortunately. I'm going to run it again and post pics when it's all done Just out of curiosity, should the roms be unzipped? I didnt do anything different, this time than I did the previous 10 times, but at least I can move on to the next part of my build. spycat Posted July 21, 2019 Share Posted July 21, 2019 25 Carrot Gold, 250 CC and 28 Plays Later are electromechanical games (fruit/pinball stuff). 2650 Computer System refers to an old 8bit Signetics microprocessor. These are all emulated by MAME. Not too sure about the Memory stuff. It looks like you may have imported everything instead of setting filters.
