Helps.. https://youtu.be/hdk_BX-HdCs Edited July 29, 2019 by FRK
Retro808
Change the view in the 7800 platform. If you check your BigBox keyboard mapping or controller mapping see if you have a key/button set for "Change View". Each theme offers multiple views so looks like you just need to change it for that platform and BigBox can allow for different views as well as different themes per platform. FRK
@neil9000 @Retro808 I think my issue is more basic ... I tried the 'change view' but while this did change the view it did not change it to how the others perform.. a good example is sega saturn, I kept the roms as is and added base ball game and as you can see it does not react the same as the pre installed types. Any guidance would be grateful... https://youtu.be/TBT4n9Ej_lM And to show I am not a complete idiot this is what I did for my own collection last year, but I never had it looking as good and thats why I would like advice on this.. The video you linked does not work. Adding roms to an existing platform does not affect the platform view. What do you mean "the pre installed types"? Are you using a drive that had preinstalled Launchbox and games? Or did you download on prebuilt set-up?
FRK
OK.. Yes I have created a 45K BB setup..But it does not look to good when selecting games etc... so I download a pre set up version (I am a paid member) which looks great BUT has limited games SO.. I decide to load some more from my old collection, I also have the videos etc so thought this would be simple... NOW this is where I am getting the trouble.. TRY the video again.. set from private to unlisted..works now.. https://youtu.be/TBT4n9Ej_lM Thanks FRK
Retro808
Yeah if you are using preloaded builds from something like the ColPipes set we do not really support troubleshooting those. It is hard to know how that was set up and if you did not do the setup yourself it makes it even harder to tell you where to look and what to fix. The best course of action if you used the ColPipes build is to request help on his discord. I will tell you looking at the video you are not actually changing "views" you are just changing "themes" in that video. Each "theme" has multiple "views" you can choose from. You need to set a button/key for "Switch View" which is different than "Switch Theme". There is an option for it in both Keyboard and Controller mapping section in BigBox. Outside of this, any issues you have if you are using the Pipes build should be referred to his discord for better help.
