Damien8
I'm new to LB, actually had a family member make me cabinet and set everything up. Whenever I press B and X on player1, I get this menu bar at the bottom of the screen. I've seen it a lot when my 4-year-old plays and I'm pretty sure he has changed a bunch of the settings. just curious to know how I can remove this from happening and also perhaps setting all of these options back to factory setting. Thanks!
Headrush69
Start MAME, hit Tab key, select Input (General), select User Interface, and right near the top you should see "On Screen Display". See what that is set as and change or erase as needed. I don't want the kids hitting that, so I set it to none. (Hit return, than Esc key)

Do I have to do it with a keyboard, or can I just use the joystick and buttons? Also, is there a way to change all settings to default? The default.cfg is located in the mame/cfg folder, you can just delete that and all buttons will be reset to default at next launch. You will of course have to re-configure your stick/controller buttons after.
