Artemis Lunanite
Hello, I've been setting up my Launchbox and everything was going very smoothly, but I have ran into a problem with my GBA roms. I imported them originally and everything worked fine, but realized that I forgot to put them in 1 folder per rom. So I deleted all the GBA games from my library, and got all the roms into folders. However, when I went back to add them to my library nothing shows up in the Import Wizard. I've tried playing around with the settings in the Import Wizard, but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any suggestions? Not sure if this is related, but I just noticed I seem to be getting an error when trying to open BigBox also. Here is the error message. https://pastebin.com/BJfDL4hL Edited September 18, 2019 by Artemis Lunanite
Retro808
Any particular reason you chose to put GBA games in 1 folder per rom? Seems overkill for a platform that does not need that. Keeping them in one folder and dragging and dropping the files into Launchbox or making sure Launchbox knows what main folder they are in (If not within the main Launchbox structure \Launchbox\Games) you can use the Scan folder options. But having all those sub folders makes it harder.
Artemis Lunanite
That does appear to be my problem. Thank you. For as to why I went with separate folders, it was more of a personal taste. I feel more organized with everything in their own folder. Should I be keeping all my roms out of folders? Or are there specific ones that should go in their own folders?
DOS76
I personally keep any rom that is just one file in a folder named after the platform but if it is a file type that requires more than one file to run the game then it goes into a folder. If using multi-file games or even single files that are in folders the best method of importing is navigating to the said system folder in Windows File Explorer and then using the search to search for the extension you want to import then just using ctrl+a to highlight all the games and then drag them onto the LB interface where it will start the import wizard.
