RayF
Before I start I just wanted to say that I deeply appreciate LaunchBox for what it is and what it gives me, I'm really thankful for everyone envolved in this project Anyways, this issue seems to have started after the most recent update (10.0) and so far I haven't seen anyone talking about it (maybe I'm just an idiot) but what happens is that I've tried to import new games for my NES library (I've tried drag and dropping, using the import tool and deleting and "remaking" the platform list) and while they show up in Launchbox with their respective media from the database, once I load up Big Box mode they either don't show up or disappear when I reload the software (the list reverts to the one I had before the update, without the new roms). Weirdly enough, this doesn't seem to happen on my other platforms (tested it on my gameboy advance library and it worked normally). My question is if this a bug from the new update that slipped through or if I'm just doing something wrong. If any more info is needed I'll be happy to provide it. Many thanks in advance, RayF

Many thanks in advance, RayF That sounds like a permissions issue as if the Platform isnt written to the xml as it should be when Launchbox is closed. Have a look in Launchbox/Data/Platforms/ for your nes xml, right click and go to properties and make sure its not set to read only for some reason. Took a look and it doesn't seem like it, both options are unchecked. Any other options I could try ?
Retro808
Your issue is likely the Nintendo Entertainment System.backup.xaml file you have in the folder. Backups should not be in there. Launchbox can mistakenly read it. Remove it from that folder and test. If you want to keep a backup keep them in a separate folder.

Thank you very much ! I'll be on the look out if anything else looks out of the ordinary.
