cachito99
Hi, for some reason sms games don't launch through launch box using retroarch GenesisGX Plus core but it loads manually through retroarch. Platform is associated to emulator and rom path is correct. It loads genesis game perfectly but not sms or game gear. Same thing happens with nes and snes cores which load nes and snes games properly but not famicom or super famicom. This is all through retroarch BTW. Any ideas what could be going on? Thank you for your help

Thank you for your help What format are those systems roms in? If the emulator and associated platform are correctly configured, and the file format is supported they will run. For NES and SNES are you saying you have all the different regions in the platform but only US roms actually load?
DOS76
check your associated platform tab for RetroArch by default LB will name the system Sega Master System so if you named it anything other than that it won't work. As for the Famicom Superfamicom they aren't by default listed in the Associated platform tab for RA so unless you have added them to the associated platform tab they won't work either. To get to the associated platform tab go to Tools select manage emulators when the new form opens double click RetroArch this will open another form from there go to the associated platform tab. add superfamicom and famicom in empty lines (assuming you already don't have entries for them). cachito99
Thx for the help guys. DOS76 you were right in both instances the associated platform name was different than the LB and Famicom and Super Famicom are not in the list. Quick final question. What is the best way to move a already configured and working console in LB under another category? For example Game Boy Advance under handhelds. Thx!!! DOS76
go to manage platform then pick you platform edit it and fill in the platform category field but GBA should have had that added to it automatically by LB when you imported it.
