destrowiz
I loaded all my Roms into my Roms folder. I have tried to load the games in Big Box and I get a loading message and than I get taken back to the games? Any idea what I have done wrong? Also do I map my controllers in BigBox or Launchbox? For some reason my controllers or buttons will not respond in either. I plugged the controllers in after the Arcade was booted up. Any help would be appreciated.? Retro808
Need to know what platform you imported and what emulator you are using. Do the games play when you launch them directly from the emulator (not using Launchbox)? Also I removed your duplicate post in the noobs section. No need for two of tue same posts. destrowiz
Hello. I am utilizing mame 0.139 32bit. The games work well utilizing mame outside of bigbox. I have tried different paths but none work. I tried mapping the arcade joystick and buttons on big box and nothing as well. Any insight would be appreciated

As old as the mame version is you may need to remove the "-keyboardprovider dinput" portion of text from the default command line when you fo to Manage Emulators in Launchbox and edit your Mame set-up. Can you also post some pics to see if you have something else disconnected. In Launchbox go to >Tools>Manage Emulators and edit Mame. Show a pic of the Details tab and the Associated platforms tab. Then go to a Mame game and right click and edit the game. Show a pic of the Launcher tab and the Emulation tab. Let's get your games working in BigBox before we look at control issue. For game play you need to open each emulator and map controls there. To move around in BigBox you go to options and map either keyboard controls or map gamepad controls depending what controller/arcade stick are using. destrowiz
The mapping would be for the Sanwa controllers. Can you map the Sanwas and buttons to be used in place of a keyboard and enter key when selecting a game and navigation? This an Arcade1up cabinet with a Windows 10 PC. Will Led Blinky do this? Both Launchbox and BigBox have specific mapping options. Just go there and set your controls.
destrowiz
Thanks. Would I pick Generic USB Controller? I think I tried this but the buttons nor the controller responded. I will try this today however.
BleedingGrnn
I am having the same issues with the SANWA controllers inside Launchbox. My mapping of buttons and joystick have all been setup and upon entering any game, the buttons work but not the joystick itself. I checked the wiring and settings. All seem fine. I even used a different front end with same setup and works fine. Not sure what else the problem could be. I'm using latest 12.9 version of Launchbox with RetroArch. Launchbox has nothing to do with controls in games, that is 100% handled by the actual emulator you are launching, so you need to set them up there. BleedingGrnn
With RetroArch embedded inside of Launchbox I say it does. Are you saying on top of integrating RetroArch inside Launchbox, you still need to install separately?

You still need to set your controls, graphic settings, shaders, overlays etc directly in Retroarch itself.
