Calvink
I cannot seem to get any games to load for PlayStation. I have watched many retroarch and launchbox tutorials. I start over each time, from the beginning. Then I thought maybe it’s just the Roms; downloaded new ones and same result. Any help is greatly appreciated! Lordmonkus
Do your games work in RA on its own ? If so the first thing I see wrong in your setup is your disk images are zipped in 7zip format but you don't have the "Extract ROM archive" box enabled in the Edit Emulator window. Calvink
I will try that again. I had it clicked once and tried to start game and still didn’t work.

C-Beats
One thing I see no mention of in your post that you also need to worry about with this system is the proper BIOS file. If you don't have it RA wont open when asked to from LaunchBox. You would see the error message saying as such if you attempt to open it from RetroArch by itself. EDIT: We posted at the same time and the second window clearly states that the above applies. Get the bios file and put it in the system folder. Lordmonkus
That's a really strange looking screen, i've never seen that before with RA and the Beetle core, but it is telling you that you don't have the bios.

Or just Google the error message. Entire first page is filled with results that will lead you to the information you need to make it work. Long story short, get the bios file, name it to the filename in the error message, then put it in RetroArch system folder.

Calvink
Now I just get a black screen but I will, start over tomorrow and try doing everything fresh and see if I can’t get it to work. The Bios was definitely a step toward. Thank you!
C-Beats
Generally means you have the wrong one or isn't named exactly right. Google for your cores docs and they will have the exact hash of the file you need. Make sure it matches.

Calvink
Yup was all caps, changed to lowercase and removed hash. Thank you!
