Tackett1980
Well I finally got my arcade cabinet up and put my pc in it. Everything was running fine, now all of a sudden retroarch won’t load anything. I think it has something to do with the usb encoders because everything worked fine before I plugged up the sticks and buttons and the dragonrise usb encoders. When I load up retroarch it doesn’t detect them as “dragonrise generic usb encoders” it’s detecting them as “retrolink n64 controllers” which is super weird. I’m using a dell 3010 i5 with a nvidia 1030. Things I have tried so far: deleted the retroarch config file. Created a new config file. I also tried remapping the controls but it’s set on detecting them incorrectly. More disconcerting than that honesty is that retroarch worked fine up until today... God I hate windows, I knew I should have done this crap in Linux. Any ideas are welcome.
DOS76
my zero delay encoders are seen as a n4 pad to but that has never cause me any issues and I highly doubt that RetroArch won't start due to your controllers.

I figured out what was going on. Weirdly it’s the startup images that were Causing the issue. I disabled them and it works just fine strangely. plus they work just fine in launchbox.
