Tackett1980
Like the title says, I have this up and running but for some blasted reason, whenever I try to load a mame rom from big box, retroarch crashes. For instance, I boot up big box, go to the arcade and select marvel vs. capcom. it will attempt to load, then it will crash and I’ll get a windows dialogue that says “retroarch.exe has stopped working” I can go into retroarch and load the rom and it works just fine. i can open launchbox, click on the rom and again it loads just fine. it will not work at all through big box. Anyone know what’s going on here?
Tackett1980
Ok I figured this out in case anyone is interested. I disabled the startup images/themes and now it works perfectly. Which is kind of a bummer that you have to go without it. Paid like 50 bucks for this and a feature is pretty much non-functional.

Well that is something specific to your system then. I use both the startup/shutdown screens and the pause screens with Retroarch just fine. Do your settings match these? The screens work just fine in launchbox no problem. Big box doesn’t.
