Exit Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 in steam with controller.

Does anyone know how to do this?  The game is set up so you have to mash the esc key to exit the game, there’s no exit to windows option in the menu either.  Pushing start select as mapped on big box works for everything else except steam games, and as far as I can tell there’s no way to map exit or the escape key to a controller button.

i have this on my arcade cabinet with USB encoders and every time I want to exit the game I have to haul out my keyboard which is Irritating.

What bind are you having issues with? Would of though the "Close Active Window" bind would still function with Steam games (though I really don't recommend doing it that way as it can cause data loss in PC games)

I have that set as start+select and it works in every game except steam games.
 

Really with many steam games it isn’t much of an issue as there is generally an “exit to windows” option in the pause or start menu somewhere.  However with UMVC3 no such option exists.  It simply says at the bottom “esc to exit”,
