Polemicist
Hi All, I'm going through my MAME setup and checking the artwork against the collections. Currently I have multiple setups running and I'm currently just checking through my HyperSpin wheels. Fisherman's Bait 2: A Bass Challenge https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/games/images/35076 This link currently has artwork in it for Bass Angler 2 as well as the Fisherman's Bait 2 artwork. These are two separate games I also noticed Bass Angler 1 isn't there. Just wondered how I go about changing the artwork into another repository or whatever is required. I have attached the artwork for Bass Angler 1 below and probably tomorrow will do the clear logo artwork for Bass Angler 2. Yeah I'm doing it for HyperSpin at the moment and yeah I have BigBox so When I get another drive I'll be doing a BB setup as well. Just enjoy helping out and love having my artwork complete. Nope got busy,... Edited May 17, 2020 by Polemicist

Mr. RetroLust
See history description at: http://adb.arcadeitalia.net/dettaglio_mame.php?game_name=bassang2&arcade_only=0&autosearch=
Polemicist
Yeah know that one. But seems that most games are separated into the name of the game as it appears in the database and this link has the artwork for both but only the one clear logo. So I'll be OK to upload the new clear logo to that link then? Is that correct? Also to create a new game in the DB for Bass Angler the original is done how? sundogak
@Polemicist If there are multiple regions name then they are added as one entry with the alternate name as the region specific name. Then if you add art for says "Bass Angler 2" then you make sure to add it with the Japan region (or whatever region name it applies to). The region feature/alternate name was added later to the DB setup, so a lot of existing titles don't have regions assigned to the original artwork uploaded for the main entry (typically the North America/USA version). So when you import you may have to fix the other media as needed if they do not have correct region assigned. As to adding games you do that from here: https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/games/add
Polemicist
Thanks Mate, So region data is important. OK will keep that in mind. Don't know if that would apply to most Clear Logo's though but yes definitely on the other artwork. It's pretty rare that the wheel art is different for each title in MAME / Arcade games and making that many individual wheels would be an insane amount of time. Sweet I have a couple of games to add to the list that are bootlegs mainly but do exist in the MAME releases. I'll carefully go through the info and see how I go. Cheers for the info.
