Importing a certain steam category

Hi guys. I have a sub-category within Steam called "Racing Games" 99% of the games in this library are non-Steam games that are actually roms that run in MAME. I've just happen to add them because I thought it would be pretty cool having them in my Steam sub-library with box art. My question is, even though these games are simply MAME roms, is it possible import these shortcut non-steam MAME games directly from Steam rather than having to import each individual one from my mame folder? The reason I'm asking is because there's about 50 or so of these racing games and I've already created batch files for them for easy launching via Steam. I'd be nice to be able to simply drag them over to my LaunchBox  folder.

The steam importer doesnt work like that, it connects to your steam account to determine the games you own. Any "non steam game" you import to steam is only recognised on your local system and not as a purchased game in your steam account. Would be far simpler to just import your mame full romset to Launchbox using its fullset importer and creating a playlist for racing games.
