why does this happen?

Hi Guys,

I do have a problem when starting games (Snes games with Snes 9x) in launchbox/Bigbox.  When a game starts, the emulator starts in it's own window, and launchbox/Bigbox is going black.

The picture is taken after I click on the black screen. First screen popping up is "Game Over" and then the screen in the picture. I have moved the emulator screen on top of BigBox.

The only thing I have done in the emulator config is setting up the controller (a wireless Xbox One S).

If more info is needed, please let me know.

Thanx

It looks to me like the emulator just didnt go fullscreen. LaunchBox only launches the emulator, doesnt make it fullscreen. Just do a search on the forums for the correct command line argument for that emulator to make it go fullscreen. There a whole list somewhere on here. Some emus also have an option to make it fullscreen on launch. Never really played around with Snes9x stand alone since I use RetroArch for SNES.

Thanx for the help guys. Problem solved. I do have two monitors, so it was my settings that made problem. I just have to change it in BigBox.

Even so, it is a bit strange. I have had BigBox on the same setup earlier with no need to change any settings.

Anyway, thanx again for the help.
