Searching for file names??

Hello everyone.

Is there a way to search for the specific name of an imported rom? (The actual name of the Rar archive/Rom).

 

Especially when we are talking "Hacks", Roms can be named many different things.

 

An example : A smb1 hack named "Blink", Gets renamed "Wrath of the black mantra"; Took me ages to find out ?

Now is 2026 and still not possible, making it a real pain to sort out roms with translation patches from those without.

Not sure if this helps but for translated games I am making custom playlists per system which auto-populate, as conditions you can put that rompath/filename contains strings like "Translated En", "(En)" (dependng on your romset). A limitation of this is that the conditions must be all "and" not "or", so for example you can't filter for filename containing either "Translated En" or "(En)".

It's nothing like a search function but at least it helps to filter for translated games. Still a proper search function on filenames would be nice...
